Brother Troy McNutt has been actively working with the Skyline church since
February of 1998. At the request of Brother Robert Willis, Troy came to assist in
the effort to revive the Skyline congregation. Since the arrival of Troy and his
family (wife, Susan; sons, Clay, Brad, and Luke) the Skyline church has continued
to grow both in spirit and number. Truly Troy’s ability to present God’s Word in
such a passionate and straight forward manner is a blessing from our Lord.
Troy, also a carpenter by trade, attended the Memphis School of Preaching,
graduating on June 17, 1990. Troy has worked diligently to spread the Gospel for
over 30 years and his labor has extended not only throughout the community, state,
and nation; but internationally as well as he has personally ministered in Australia
and Russia.
His parents, Jimmy and Billie McNutt, are faithful members of the East Main
Church of Christ where his father Jimmy served as an Elder for many years. In
June of 2007 Troy and Susan’s son, Brad, graduated from the Memphis School of
Preaching as well. The members of the congregation are proud to have Troy and his
family with them and pray that God will bless them with many years of service at
the Skyline Church of Christ.
